Clear Lake Watershed Protection Zone

The Clear Lake Watershed Protection Zone was created to protect the aquifer and surface waters of the Clear Lake Watershed.  It will also help us to achieve the water quality standards set by Oregon State Law, and to ensure that all uses within the Clear Lake Watershed are consistent with the objective of achieving those water quality standards.

There is a great deal of concern about protecting our watershed.  To that end, the Board of Directors is supporting the creation of the Drinking Water Protection Committee.  If you are interested in what is going on with that committee, you can get more information by contacting the District at 541-997-2446 or by email at customer-service@hwpud.com.
