Lane County has opened the process for residents to run for a position on the Board of Directors. Subdivisions 1, 2 and 5 are up for election on November 3, 2026.

Important Dates for Candidates

• July 16, 2026 – First date to file for People’s Utility District (PUD) office
• Aug. 18, 2026 – Filing deadline for elected incumbent candidates
• Aug. 25, 2026 – Filing deadline for non-incumbent (new) and appointed incumbent candidates
• Filing fee is $10.00
